The Doon Farmers Producer Company is a farmer producer organiation (FPO) registered by the women farmers under the Companies Act 2013, almost all of which are women. FP0’s C | N / Registration Number is U01110UR2016PTC007084 which was registered on May 20, 2016 under Section 7 Company Act 2013. The main office and outlet of the FPO is located in the Gullar Ghati Chowk, Nakraunda. The brand name of our outlet is Himalayan Rural Mart.
Given the excellent work and passion of FPO, NABARD got the approval of Himalayan Rural Mart with the tireless efforts of Balaji Seva Sansthan. Himalayan Rural Mart has been developed primarily for the dairy farmers of the area, the outlets also sell locally grown and mainly organic, handicraft items, daal, rajma, rice candles and handicrafts and other items. Women are made by groups.
Office of the FPO and Himalayan Rural Mart was inaugurated by Mr. D.M.Magur, Chief General Manager, NABARD on February 21. At the time of inauguration, Shri Panwar, Village Pradhan, Nakarounda and Village Pradhan of Miyanwala, Miss Puja Ji and the people of the village gathered on a large number. All Directors, members of FPO, Balaji Team, General Manager of DCB, Shri Bhatnagar and Shri Dharmendra Mishra DDM, NABARD were also present.
Currently, authorized and paid up capital of FPO is one lakh rupees, which aims to be taken up to 10 lakhs in the next three years. There are a total of 300 farmer members, members of the board of directors, in which 130 members are share holders and the remaining members are in queue, Our goal is to add and benefit 1000 farmers in this FPO.
The specific idea of developing a women centric organization (FPO) has been done to unite and to create mutual trust among the farmer producer. The role of Balajee Sewa Sanstha is to guide women groups, introduce the concept of FPO, and with transparency, to help in election of directors and in marketing.
There is a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the FPO. The administrative bodies of the FPO take care of the receipt of production, its processing, the decision of fixed rate and day-to-day action. The NGO observes all these actions that the decisions made by them are in the right direction and are in the interest of the members of the productive organization.
It is a matter of great pride and respect for the FPO that for giving direction to us, the big officials like Chief General Manager of NABARD, Mr. D. Anant Upadhyay, Chief Vigilance Officer and Deputy Managing Director Mr. Dave came to meet the members. It is requested to the woman farmers that they should connect with FPO and take advantage of it and consolidate the FPO by acquiring the company’s ownership by purchasing a share of the company for one thousand rupees, only by depositing Rs. 100 and registering for membership. Customers are requested to take advantage of our pure product and save their health and family from adulterated products.
The product here is sold in our second outlet which is located in Subhash Nagar. FPOs trains their members through the Balaji Seva Sansthan under non-agricultural program. Their other products such as Candle, Agarbatti, Candle, Papad, Namkeen and Pickles, Sweaters, Handcrafted items are also sold, which are usually provided on demand of our esteemed customers. Professional training such as sewing, fashion designing, beauty parlor is done with the help of Balajee Sewa Sansthan for skill development of the members and their children associated with FPO.
Its main function is dairy, in which it sells the pure milk to the customers by collecting the milk from its members / share holders through Himalayan Rural Mart outlets. In addition to the dairy work, other crops of the farmers like masala, daal and other grains are also sold and its profits are distributed among the members. The main objective of the FPO is to give small farmers their fair value and make them self-dependent by doubling their income. Along with this, it’s our duty to deliver pure product to customers. It is the 100% guarantee for the purity of the product that is found in Himalayan Rural Mart and purity is our identity. Almost 120 self-help groups and 10 farmers’ clubs are affiliated with FPO, whose products are also sold in Himalayan Rural Mart.
